Valentine, Zimmerman lead No. 7 W&L past William Smith
LEXINGTON, Va. – After having play suspended on Friday, the No. 7 Washington and Lee women’s soccer team closed out a 3-1 win against William Smith on Sunday morning for a 2-0 start to the season. HOW IT HAPPENED: The Generals (2-0) and Herons (2-1) played the first 24:23 of the game on Friday before severe weather caused the suspension.
