Washington wins 2nd straight Apple Cup behind swarming defensive effort
This year’s Apple Cup wasn’t quite as high-scoring as last year’s, but the end result was all the same. The Washington Huskies are 1-0 on the year after a dominant defensive effort dispatched the Washington State Cougars, 24-10. Neither team moved the ball particularly well on Sunday.
