Williams’ Victory Highlights Blue/Gold Race in Fairbanks

FAIRBANKS – The Alaska Nanooks cross country teams hosted the Alaska Anchorage Seawolves for the annual Blue/Gold Race on the UAF campus. UAA defeated the Nanooks in both races. The Nanooks fell in the men’s race 50-15 and in the women’s race 36-22. Tabitha Williams highlighted the day by winning the women’s 6k race. Williams, a senior, posted a winning time of 22:24, winning by over 10 seconds. Natalie Allen was the top-finisher for the Seawolves following in second with a 22:36.
