Women’s Cross-Country Place 11th at Spider Alumni Open

The Virginia Union University women's cross-country team opened its 2026 season Saturday by competing in the Spider Alumni Open, hosted by the University of Richmond at Pole Green Park. The Lady Panthers finished 11th in a field of 16 teams , finishing ahead of NCAA Division I Norfolk State University and CIAA rival Virginia State University.
