Women’s Soccer Unable to Draw Even against Sewanee

DELAWARE, Ohio – The Ohio Wesleyan University women’s soccer team (0-2-1, 0-0-0 NCAC) wrapped up their three-game opening week on Saturday with a midafternoon matchup against Sewanee (2-0-0, 0-0-0). The Battling Bishops conceded an early goal and suffered a shutout on the offensive end, falling 1-0. Sewanee went ahead in the ninth minute and held the Bishops to just one shot in the first half.
