Boxers shut out Whittier for second win of the season

WHITTIER, Calif. – Behind two second-half goals, the Pacific women’s soccer team defeated Whittier 2-0 on Monday morning. Tied 0-0 at halftime, Pacific senior Rissalyn Hara broke through for the Boxers, scoring her first goal of the season on an assist by Jadyn Ayano in the 46th minute. Less than two minutes later, Pacific senior Elizabeth Brisson added an insurance goal on an assist from Hara to give the Boxers a 2-0 advantage.
