Devin Lippold named Southland Offensive Player of the Week

FRISCO, Texas - Following a weekend where he became McNeese's first quarterback to throw for four touchdowns in making his first start, Devin Lippold has been named this week's Southland Conference Offensive Player of the Week after leading the Cowboys to a 52-0 win over Texas Wesleyan, the league office announced on Monday. Lippold completed 15 of 20 passes for 199 yards with no interceptions to go along with his touchdown tosses. He posted an efficiency of 224.6.
