Holguin Named FloCollege/CCAA Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week

TURLOCK, Calif. — Stan State's Stevie Holguin has been named the FloCollege/CCAA Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week for the week of Aug. 31-Sept. 6 following her performance at the season-opening University of San Francisco Invitational. Holguin led the No. 12 nationally ranked Warriors to a second-place team finish Friday afternoon at Hellman Hollow in San Francisco. She finished sixth overall in the women's 6K race with a time of 21:00.2 and was the top non-Division I finisher in the field. Her time was just 3.2 seconds off her collegiate-best 6K mark of 20:57.0, which she recorded last season....
