Kemboi Claims GAC Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week Honors

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced its first weekly award winners of the 2026 cross country season, and East Central University's Joyce Kemboi has been named the GAC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week on Monday. Kemboi had an impressive performance in the Tigers' season opener at the Aggie Duels hosted by Cameron University in Lawton, capturing the individual title in the women's 5K with a time of 17:06.5 to lead ECU to a first-place team finish.
