Late Goal Lifts Shaw Past Lincoln Women’s Soccer
DURHAM, N.C. – The Lincoln University (Pa.) women’s soccer team controlled much of the offensive pressure Monday afternoon, but a late goal proved to be the difference as the Lions fell to Shaw University, 1-0, at Wake Stone Park. With the loss, Lincoln moves to 0-1-1 on the season, while Shaw improves to 1-2. INSIDE THE NUMBERS Lincoln finished with a 10-5 advantage in shots and held a commanding 7-1 edge in corner kicks.
