WILLIAMSBURG, Va.— The William & Mary women’s golf team opened its 2026-27 campaign with an impressive start on Monday, as it is tied for second place after the first day of play at the Tribe Invitational. W&M posted an 18-over (300-294) through the first 36 holes at the Kingsmill’s River Course, tying with Georgetown. Longwood will enter Tuesday’s final round atop the leaderboard at 6-over.
