3 HS football games this week forfeited due to lack of healthy players
Teams must have a minimum of 16 healthy, eligible players to participate in games. The first week of the Section 1 high school football season exacted a toll on three programs who came into their openers with limited rosters, forcing Haldane, Croton and Briarcliff/Hamilton to cancel this week’s games.
