Augustana Football continues to receive votes in first week of AFCA Polls

WACO, Texas — The Augustana Vikings football team continues to receive votes in the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Division III Coaches Poll, after the first week of action this past weekend. The Vikings cruised past the Simpson Storm on Saturday by a score of 45-14. Jimmy Makuh earned CCIW Athlete of the Week after completing 16 of 23 passes for 241 yards and three touchdowns.
