Dahmen, Siekmann Hat Tricks Power Wolves Past Belmont Abbey, 7-0

NEWBERRY, S.C. – Behind hat tricks from Wibien Dahmen and birthday girl Faye Siekmann, the Newberry College field hockey team rolled to a 7-0 victory over Belmont Abbey in its home opener Tuesday evening, improving to 2-0 on the young season. The Wolves wasted little time taking control, striking twice in the opening quarter. Dahmen opened the scoring before Payton Keeler added another to send Newberry into the second period with a 2-0 advantage.
