Daniels named Empire 8 Co-Defensive Player of the Week

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The Empire 8 Conference office has announced its opening week award winners in football, naming SUNY Morrisville’s defensive back, Zavion Daniels (West Hempstead, N.Y.) the Co-Defensive Player of the Week for action ending September 6. Daniels assisted the Mustangs to a 33-30 season opening win over Kean University Saturday, collecting six total tackles and two interceptions. In all, the junior knocked down three passes.
