Lawson, Logan earn SIAC honors

Two Tuskegee student-athletes were honored by the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference for their performances last week for the Golden Tigers volleyball team. Carmyn Lawson was named Offensive Player and Newcomer of the Week and Sakiah Logan was named Defensive Player of the Week as announced today by the league office. Lawson, a sophomore from Forney, Tex., hit .255 with 40 kills, four assists, three service aces, and four blocks as Tuskegee went 3-1 last week.
