McGrew, Ryans earn SIAC football honors

Quarterback Bryson McGrew and kicker Lorcan Ryans were named Players of the Week by the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference for their performances in Tuskegee's 24-23 win over Fort Valley State in the Port City Classic. McGrew, a sophomore from Montgomery, Ala., was named Offensive Player of the Week. He came off the bench to throw for 171 yards and three touchdowns - all in the second half - after the Golden Tigers failed to make it into the end zone in the first half.
