Tigers Secure Top-Five Finish at Golfweek Challenge

PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. – The University of Memphis women’s golf team closed the Golfweek Challenge in fifth place Tuesday at Caledonia Golf Links. The Tigers carded a 14-over-par 298 in the final round for an 18-over-par 870 total. The performance ties the eighth-lowest 54-hole score in program history, a mark last set at the 2015 Fall Invitational. Nutsanun Khamphueng led Memphis, shooting a final-round 3-over 74 to tie for fifth place at 1-over 214 and set a 54-hole career low by one stroke.
