Women’s Golf: Women’s Golf Saves Best for Last in WinStar Invitational
THACKERVILLE, Okla. — The St. Mary’s University Women’s Golf team finished the WinStar Invitational on a high note, shooting a final round best of 283 (-5) to finish in second place. The Rattlers were one of two schools to post a subpar round in the tournament, joining champion DBU, which was 11-under on day two. StMU finished the three-day tournament with 874 strokes (295-296-283/+10), ending 18 shots off the lead by DBU (29-277-289=856/-8), and ahead of third-place West Texas A&M and Midwestern State by 16 strokes (890).
