Women’s tennis wins home opener against Pitt Greensburg

WAYNESBURG, Pa. (Sept. 8) – The Waynesburg women’s tennis team picked up its first victory of the 2026-27 campaign on Tuesday evening, defeating Pitt-Greensburg by a 5-2 score at the Bechtle Family Tennis Facility. The Yellow Jackets improved to 1-1 on the season, while the Bobcats fell to 3-1. Waynesburg (1-1) built an early advantage by claiming two of the three doubles matches.
