Alex DeBrincat Reiterates Desire To Re-Sign In Detroit

Amidst a time of tremendous uncertainty for the Detroit Red Wings organization, star goal scorer Alex DeBrincat has reiterated his desire to remain with the club beyond the 2026-27 season. The 28-year-old is set to become an unrestricted free agent next summer if he doesn’t put pen to paper on a contract extension before July 1.
