Blue Jays’ Braydon Fisher to start bullpen game vs. A’s

The Toronto Blue Jays will go to a familiar opener for a bullpen game on Wednesday. Right-hander Braydon Fisher will make his ninth start of the season when he faces the Athletics in the series finale, the Blue Jays announced early Wednesday morning. Fisher last pitched on Sunday, throwing just 10 pitches against the Kansas City Royals. After using six pitchers in Monday's series-opening loss, the Blue Jays needed only starter Jose Soriano (seven innings) and Spencer Miles (two innings) for Tuesday's victory.
