Bosmans Clinches Thriller as Women’s Tennis Opens Season With 4-3 Win
PHILADELPHIA, PA. – Opening Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play Wednesday afternoon, the Queens College women’s tennis team battled Thomas Jefferson University at the Abraham J. Salaman ’58 Tennis Courts. After taking a 1-0 match lead following doubles play, the Knights had to dig deep in singles as the Rams rallied to tie the match at 3-3. Making her collegiate debut, rookie Elise Bosmans clinched the thrilling three-set victory to help Queens open the season on a strong note.
