Cardinals Suffer First Loss of Season Against Clarkson

PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. — The Plattsburgh State women’s soccer team suffered its first loss of the 2026 season Wednesday evening, falling to Clarkson University, 1-0, at home. The Cardinals entered the contest unbeaten through their first three matches, collecting wins over VTSU-Castleton and Farmingdale State along with a draw against Stevens. Plattsburgh returned home looking to remain unbeaten while facing a Clarkson side it had fallen to in each of the previous two seasons.
