Carlson Named Pac-12 Newcomer, Defensive Player of the Week

LA JOLLA, Calif. — UC San Diego men’s soccer’s Gavin Carlson was honored today by the Pac-12 as one of the conference’s Players of the Week for the second time this season. Carlson is both the Newcomer of the Week and the Defensive Player of the Week. After the first three weeks of the men’s soccer season, UC San Diego has five Pac-12 Player of the Week awards.
