Dobberstein tabbed MIAA Defender of the Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association has announced its MIAA Women's Soccer Athlete of the Week award winners for week two of the 2026 season. Griffon Soccer defender Cadence Dobberstein was named the MIAA Defender of the Week after helping MoWest post back-to-back shutouts during a 2-0 week at home. Dobberstein played 73 minutes in MWSU's 2-0 win over Wayne State on Sept. 2, scoring the game-winning goal while finishing with two shots, both on goal.
