Nelson named NACC Women’s Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week

©Steve Woltmann 9/9/2026 10:08:00 AM Aurora University junior setter Trinity Nelson was named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Women’s Volleyball Offensive Student-Athletes of the Week, as selected by the league’s athletics communications professionals. Nelson earned the honor after she started the 2026 season in strong fashion, averaging 10.24 assists per set over AU’s first five matches. The Spartans went 4-1 with the lone loss being a 3-2 result at Illinois Wesleyan. In addition to her 174 assists, Nelson added 13 kills from her setting position and had seven service aces.
