Sam Darnold ruled out with hip injury after only one drive, replaced by Drew Lock

Quarterback Sam Darnold left the season-opening game against the New England Patriots after one series due to a hip injury. He was replaced by Drew Lock. Darnold went back to the locker room with athletic trainers before the Seahawks' second series started. Late in the second quarter, Darnold was ruled out by the Seahawks for the rest of the game.
