Statesmen win 4th straight, down Pioneers 2-1

GENEVA, N.Y.— The Hobart Soccer team scored twice in the second half as it knocked off Utica 2-1 in a non-conference contest on a wet and rainy afternoon on Cozzens Field. With today’s win, the Statesmen are 4-0-0 to start the year for the second straight season. Senior Joe Pariano and junior Will Slayton scored the goals for Hobart. Sophomore Finn Connaughton played all 90 minutes in goal and made four saves in his first collegiate start. Mason Bucher scored for the Pioneers (1-2-1).
