Alabama opens its 2026 SEC schedule on Saturday, as it travels to Kentucky for a Week 2 matchup at Kroger Field in Lexington. One new name has been ruled out, according to the Crimson Tide’s injury report released on Thursday night. That’s cornerback Zyan Gibson, as the true freshman joins Nick Sherman and Jorden Edmonds on the list of defensive backs who won’t play against the Wildcats.
