Boilers Suffer First Loss of the Season

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The Boilers suffered their first loss of the season to open Big Ten play, falling 2-1 to the Bruins Thursday night at Wallis Annenberg Stadium. Purdue moved to 6-1-1 overall and 0-1-0 in Big Ten play. The Boilermakers finished with nine shots, including five on target, while UCLA recorded 11 shots and six shots on goal.
