Carmel football wins bragging rights from nearby rival Mahopac

MAHOPAC — Landon Beauchesne ran for two touchdowns, the second with 1:26 to play as Carmel won town bragging rights Thursday night in the annual Bryan Higgins Memorial Game, 28-21. The Rams stopped Mahopac on fourth down as time expired just outside the Rams 10. Up next for Carmel is Clarkstown North at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 19.
