Greek International Alexandros Skliros Signs with Vikings Ahead of 2026-27 Season

PORTLAND, Ore. — The Portland State men’s basketball team expanded its roster and its geographical reach Thursday with the signing of Alexandros Skliros from Patras, Greece, ahead of the 2026-27 season. Skliros, a 6-8 post player, comes to the Vikings with high-level experience representing Greece on the international stage. Skliros competed for Greece at the FIBA U18 EuroBasket this past summer. He appeared in seven games, averaging 5.4 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game while recording 12 total blocks.
