Memphis Sweeps Alcorn State on Opening Day of Carrie Yerty Classic

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis volleyball team (2-4) opened the Carrie Yerty Classic with a 3-0 sweep of Alcorn State (0-7) on Thursday morning inside Elma Roane Fieldhouse. HOW IT HAPPENED Memphis opened the first set with a 5-0 run sparked by kills from Caitlyn Little and Lily Hamilton before Alcorn State responded with a kill from Rylan Jones.
