Airline, Bossier, Mansfield among Thursday high school football winners

The Airline Vikings defeated the Byrd Jackets 40-21 in a District 1-5A contest. Bossier, Jonesboro-Hodge, and Mansfield all remained undefeated with decisive victories. Byrd quarterback Leo Ezernack left the game in the second half with a knee injury. A rare Byrd pass attempt late in the first half went awry and gave visiting Airline the swing it needed in its 40-21 victory in a District 1-5A contest at Lee Hedges Stadium.
