Cardinals Open Home Slate With 3-0 Shutout of MCLA

PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – The Plattsburgh State men’s soccer team opened its home slate in convincing fashion Friday night, shutting out MCLA, 3-0, under the lights at the Field House Complex as the Cardinals kicked off the Holiday Inn Cardinal Classic. The Cardinals entered the contest coming off their first victory of the season and carried that momentum into their home opener, controlling play throughout the night while outshooting the Trailblazers, 22-3, including an 11-0 advantage in shots on goal.
