GCSU drops a pair at Triton and Lion Invitational

PETERSBURG, Fla. | Georgia College & State University opened play at the Triton and Lion Invitational Friday (Sept. 11) with a pair of losses. The Bobcats fell to tournament host Eckerd College 25-17, 25-17, 25-19 in the opening match before dropping a four-set decision to Henderson State University 25-21, 25-22, 25-16 and 25-20. GCSU came out strong against Henderson State, taking the opening set 25-21 while hitting .357 with 18 kills and just three errors.
