Hawks Fight Through 2-0 Setback at Rochester

ROCHESTER, NY – Hartwick Field Hockey battled through a scoreless first half, before two second-half goals lifted the opposing Yellowjackets to a 2-0 decision at Fauver Stadium. The Hawks came out with pressure early, recording five shots in the opening quarter. Lexi Cheeseman (Owego, N.Y.) and Makayla Bales (Sidney, N.Y.) each put shots on target, but Hartwick was unable to break through.
