No. 6 Wake Forest Shuts Out VCU on Friday Evening

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The No. 6 Wake Forest field hockey team shut out VCU 7-0 on Friday night. Freshman Bianca Rees-Gibbs recorded her first career hat trick. She recorded a brace in the first half, adding another goal in the fourth. Senior Faye Janse recorded a brace. Janse scored in the first and fourth quarters. Senior Ava Moore recorded her fourth goal of the season in the fourth quarter. Lena Keller scored her first goal of the season in the second quarter.
