No. 7 Mustangs Wins 3-1 At Pitt To Start ACC Play

Box Score PITTSBURGH (SMU) — No. 7 SMU Men’s Soccer won 3-1 at Pitt in its Atlantic Coast Conference Opener on Friday. The Mustangs won with goals from Jaylinn Mitchell , Stephan Soghomonian and Villads Landsperg . Mitchell scored his second goal of the season, Soghomonian scored his fourth while Landsperg scored his first goal for SMU. Mukisa Emmanuel assisted Soghomonian’s goal to record his first assist of the season, while Noah Holmstrøm made his first assist for SMU for Landsperg’s goal. SMU showed incisive offense in transition, outshooting the Panthers 14-8 while having only 38% possession of the ball.…
