Steelheads acquire 17 picks in Tanner Adams trade with Wolves

The Mississauga Steelheads have cashed in big. The Ontario Hockey League club announced Friday that it traded the rights to 16-year-old forward Tanner Adams to the Sudbury Wolves. In exchange, the Steelheads receive 15 draft picks from the Wolves, plus two compensatory picks from the league. Adams, who is from Northern Ontario, was selected by the Steelheads as the No. 3 pick in the 2026 OHL Draft.
