Volleyball Falls to John Carroll in Windy City Opener

CHICAGO— Eastern University Women’s Volleyball rallied to win the third set but was unable to extend the match further in a four-set loss to the John Carroll Blue Streaks in the opening round of the Windy City Invitational at North Park University. Jessie Schreiber led the Eagles with 11 kills and Grace Cooper recorded 19 digs. After dropping the opening two sets, the Eagles found a rally after trailing 9-4 in the third.
