Volleyball: Owls split pair of five-set thrillers at Franklin Invitational

FRANKLIN, Ind. — The Kenyon College volleyball team opened the Franklin College Invitational with a pair of five-set battles Friday, rallying past Blackburn College before falling to Eureka College in game two of the night. The Owls twice found themselves pushed to the limit, playing all 10 possible sets on the opening day of the Franklin Invitational at the Spurlock Center. Kenyon opened the day by overcoming a late Blackburn surge to earn a 25-19, 25-19, 15-25, 22-25, 15-11 victory.
