Warriors Rally to Force Fifth Set, Fall to Cal Poly Humboldt in CCAA Opener

ARCATA, Calif .— Stan State rallied from a two-set deficit to force a deciding fifth set before falling to Cal Poly Humboldt 25-22, 25-19, 23-25, 18-25, 15-12 Thursday evening in the CCAA opener for both teams at Lumberjack Arena. The Warriors (3-5, 0-1 CCAA) dropped the opening two sets before responding with victories in the third and fourth to extend the match. Cal Poly Humboldt improved to 4-3 overall and 1-0 in the CCAA.
