Wolves Kick Off Classic with 3-1 Win

CARROLLTON, Ga. – Fueled by outside hitters Valiree Schmus, Brooke McCall and Grace-Blythe Cornett’s double-digit performances, West Georgia (2-5) opened the UWG Volleyball Classic, securing a 3-1 win over Gardner-Webb (4-4) at The Coliseum on Friday. Schmus led the Pack with 18.5 points on 17 kills, followed by Cornett with 17.5 points from 16 kills and McCall with 16 points from 14 kills.
