Women’s Soccer Battles to a 2-2 Draw with St. Thomas

HOUSTON, Texas — The Schreiner University women’s soccer team battled back twice on Thursday night, earning a hard-fought 2-2 draw against the University of St. Thomas at SaberCats Stadium. The Mountaineers found themselves in an early hole when St. Thomas’ Valeria Lara scored in the fifth minute to give the Celts a 1-0 advantage. Schreiner answered before halftime.
