Bobcats secure second win of the season at Triton and Lion Invitational

SAINT LEO, Fla. | Georgia College & State University earned its second win of the season Saturday (Sept. 12) as the Bobcats split their final two matches at the Triton and Lion Invitational. GCSU bounced back after dropping the opening set to defeat Franklin Pierce University in four sets. The Bobcats fell 25-22 in the first set before taking the next three 25-15, 25-19 and 25-18. GCSU later fell to tournament host Saint Leo University 25-22, 25-14, 25-21 and 25-17 to move to 2-10 on the season. The Bobcats found their rhythm offensively against Franklin Pierce after the opening set.…
