Buccaneers Take Second at Furman Invitational Behind Strong Outings from Iriondo and Gillespie

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Charleston Southern competed in their first away meet of the season on Saturday as they raced in the Furman Invitational. The Buccaneers placed second at the meet with a team score of 42 points. Furman won the meet with a perfect score of 15 points with the Bucs taking runner-up accolades at the meet with a team total of 42 points. They finished ahead five other squads including a Big South member in Gardner-Webb.
