Deja Vu: Virginia Tech drops would-be scoop and score, returns fumble for TD on next play

The Virginia Tech Hokies and Old Dominion Monarchs have developed a solid rivalry. Their matchups have always been entertaining affairs, and through the opening minutes on Saturday, things are no different. Late in the first quarter, the Hokies appeared to take a 17-0 lead against the Monarchs on Keon Wylie’s 46-yard fumble return touchdown. Unfortunately, Wylie lost possession of the ball before crossing the goal line. The flub kept Virginia Tech ahead just 10-0 and gave Old Dominion possession at its own 20-yard line.
