Elon Continues Play At Elon Invitational

ELON – The Elon men’s tennis team continued play Saturday on day two of the Elon Invitational at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center. In the second round of singles, Jack Curtis defeated Charlotte’s Emilio Sanchez 6-4, 6-4. Nikola Parichkov defeated Cole Thurgur of Charlotte 7-5, 7-5. Curtis added another win in the third round of singles, beating Furman’s Evan Rigsby 6-0, 6-2. To close out the day, Nikola Parichkov came from behind to win 1-6, 7-5, 6-4 against VCU’s Patrik Petera. Parichkov and Curtis are both 3-0 in singles this weekend.
